Jane (Murray as a puppet) is a monkey puppet. She hosted World Animals, World Music, World Animal Adventure & Wild Animal Safari. Her brother Murray (named after the Legends & Lore puppet) appeared in a Jungle Splitz puppet show in World Animals and then in Meet The Orchestra and Baby's First Moves. She was later made into a Kids II puppet.

- Jane's original name was Monkey C. (A play on the saying; "Monkey see, monkey do") according to the original list of character names from a 2000 booklet.
- According the Legends and Lore website in 2000, her brother, Murray was born on November 6, 1992 in the Jungle Trees. He likes bananas and monkey shines. He dislikes it when he misses the branches when swinging through the trees.[1]
- Her name comes from the English zoologist Jane Goodall, who was known for studying primates.
- With a total of 4 videos, she has hosted more videos than any other character.
- She is one of the most popular puppet characters on Baby Einstein.
- She was featured in a video on YouTube called "Fun to Rhyme" which is claimed to have her playing with a Dalmatian and the video references profanity.
